Classic Savory

Another excuse to dine-out~ It's Father's day! Of course,  hubby would not let this occasion pass. He won't allow me to take the upper hand because last time we did celebrate Mother's Day.

It's also "The Man of Steel" day, coinciding my man of steel day.

We decided to go to Robinson's Magnolia to try their cinema and check out the new mall in town.

I got excited to eat at Yabu: The House of Katsu, but they are jam-packed. My husband and kids are already hungry and can't wait no more so we look for another alternative and we came up with Classic Savory.

We are all a big fan of Chinese Restaurants, Classic Savory came from the old Savory Restaurant in Escolta, Manila. It was my Parents and Grandparents favorite.

A variety of Chinese foods to choose from. source Classic savory

Since its almost 5:00pm and we got to wait til 7:00pm for the movie, we decided to take early dinner so we can go home after the movie. Here's what we've got.

Cream of Crab & Corn Soup P195.00
Yang Chow Fried Rice P175.00

Old Spaghetti House

This is my first time dining here and I must say I made the right choice.

Old Spaghetti House for me was just like an ordinary Italian Spaghetti Restaurant. Bonding with my Bessie at Robinson's Place Otis, we decided to try it out.

Ambiance was soft and relaxing. It's like dining in an old western style restaurant using sea-shells chandeliers and wooden furnitures & walls,  minus the wild cowboys.

They have this Trio Treats promo which offers different variety of appetizers, spaghettis and pizzas depending on your choice. They have the Healthy Delights, Celebration Trio, All Italian, All Time Favorite, Go Filipino (this one has an interesting combination like the bagoong pizza which I'm afraid to try.)  and many more.

We ordered the TrioTreats: All-time Favorite, P665.00 (plus 10% service charge), which consists of Appetizer Sampler, Spaghetti Chicken Pesto, Four Cheese Pizza and a pitcher of Iced Tea.

Iced Tea tastes sooooo good! Love it!
Appetizer Sampler ~ Onion Rings, Calamares & Chicken chunks
Spaghetti Chicken Pesto
Four Cheese Pizza
All these tastes delightfully delicious. All was soooo good to the point that we finished them all (this was supposed to be for three, remember? hahaha). Their bricked baked-oven thin crust pizza was so tasty. I just wished that its crust was a little bit thicker. Spaghetti Chicken Pesto was simple yet so delicious. Appetizers was the best. Tender calamares, oh so good onion rings and chicken chunks (though the serving of chunks was so little that you won't even noticed it on the plate). Overall, they are exceptionally delicious. Two thumbs-up!

I will definitely go back to try more.

~Bon appetit~
