Breakfast at Antonio's

We decided to take our late lunch break at Breakfast at Antonio's after checking out at Punta Fuego going back to Manila.

Entrance and Parking Area

Though you can hardly feel the cold climate in Tagaytay during summer, a refreshing summer breeze air outside the restaurant embraces you as you walk especially going to the back of the restaurant where you can see the breathtaking view of Taal Volcano and Lake.

Dining/Interior

The classic black and white theme of this dining room decor looks very neat and organized. The waitresses wore a French Maid uniforms and their hair brushed neatly in buns which makes your dining experience very European. And mind you, they looked strict and fractious like Miss Minchin of Princess Sarah, hahaha!

Food

Although Breakfast at Antonio's is famous for its breakfast (obviously!), we decided to give a  try their pizza and pasta for our late lunch/merienda.

A bite of Oatmeal Cookie left on my plate
Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza P 650.00
Cinco Formaggi Pizza P 630.00
Spaghetti Carbonara P 495.00
Spaghetti Pomodoro P 495.00

Nothing special for this menu.  Just like any Italian Resto serving Pizza and Pasta. I still recommend that it is best to try their breakfast sets and steaks.

Bon Appetit!~

Kainan sa Dalampasigan

Kainan sa Dalampasigan is usually an alternative lunch date before checking in or after checking out at various resorts in the heart of Nasugbu, Batangas. A good place to dine in not only because of the food but the ambiance as well.

Like an old vacation houses, Kainan sa Dalampasigan has the serenity of nature and warmth of the surroundings.

Entrance and Garden Area

An ordinary and provincial landscape welcomes you while entering the place.  But what entices me most are the hanging vines that swoops when the wind blows.

Main Dining

Mostly wood with the combination bamboo, bricks and glass and lots of plants. That's how I will described their dining hall. A very cool and refreshing surroundings that you will only hear the sounds of the tweeting birds and the hush of water falling in their mini-waterfalls.

Food

Served mostly Filipino food, theirs is not that extraordinary. You cannot compare them to Sonia's or Antonio's but they have a distinctive taste of their own.

Rice P30.00
Bulalo P 390.00
Lechon Kawali  P 250.00
Bilao sa Dalampasigan  P 530.00
Pinakbet P 215.00
Definitely a good value for your money. Though I am not really that impressed with the food but with the reasonable price plus the ambiance, I can give this restaurant a must try especially when you are within the area.
