Mr. Kimbob: Korean Health Food

A segway from the traditional fast food menu and dishes, here comes Mr. Kimbob. A korean fast food restaurant recently opened in various SM Fastfood chains.

We ordered their bestseller the Bibimbob. My hubby and I shared for a large bowl of bibimbob and it's just enough for us.

Large Bibimbob P119.00

Bibimbab is a signature Korean dishes which literally means mixed rice. source Wikipedia
Just like in the picture, bibimbob is served with white rice on the center of sizzling plate, sided with mixed veggies, a choice of pork, beef or seafood, topped with egg.

Eating bibimbob is easy. Just mixed all the ingredients, while the plate is still hot and viola, it is now ready to eat.

Plate is very hot, so is the food. Be very careful not to burn your tongue.

A very cheap but delicious and healthy substitute for Sizzling Pepper Steak and Pepper Lunch.

Happy Eating!~

Lucky Rainbow Seafood Restaurant

Due to long waiting lines at most of the restaurants in Ongpin Street, Binondo, we finally settled to eat here at Lucky Rainbow Seafood Restaurant.

Last Valentines Day (long overdue post huh!?), my Dad lovingly asked us his children, to go out for dinner to celebrate Valentines day.  So, the whole family joined forces to go to the nearest and accessible restaurant in Chinatown. Luckily, we were complete because my youngest sister Monet, who is based in Singapore was on a week vacation. Maybe that's why my Dad make "lambing" because we were all there.

Our first stop was at President's Tea House. It was full house so we went at Estero. Same luck though. My sister Lani, saw this Lucky Rainbow Restaurant near where she parked her car. It's not that full, so we decided to give it a try.

Forgive me for not remembering the prices. But I tell you, it was reasonable enough for you to give it a try. And because this was unexpected, we have no camera with us. Sorry for the poor resolutions of the pictures. Cellphone camera was used.

Birds Nest Soup

Yang Chow Fried Rice

Soy Chicken

Pork Asado

Pancit Canton

Fish Fillet in Garlic and Black Beans Sauce

Overall, Lucky Seafood Restaurant is worth to give a try. A clean and spacious ambiance. A reasonable price. And more importantly, a delicious and delectable dishes.

I would love to go back to try their dim sum.
