Enchanted Kingdom

Welcome to Enchanted Kingdom (EK). It is the Philippine version of  Disneyland. It is not as grand as the disneyland but its just enough for us Filipinos especially the kids and kids at heart as well. Enchanted Kingdom is located at the heart of Sta. Rosa, Laguna. A one-hour drive from Manila.

Park Admission Prices is P500.00 for adult and P250.00 for children for weekdays only. An additional P100.00 for weekends. This is a ride-all-you-can ticket. But mind you, there are rides inside the park with an additional fee.

Meet Eldar, the Enchanted Kingdom Wizard Mascot. You will find him at the front gate and at the middle of the Midway Boardwalk.

Common and lets explore the park! See and feel the magic. Here are some of EK most adventurous rides and exciting park zones!

The Victoria Park~my park (hahaha, came from my name of course). Inspired by Queen Victoria's elegance. You will see here some entertainers dressed like king and queens. It features the Grand Carousel as its main attraction.

You will also find kiosk and parkside souvenirs and culinary delights.

The Portabello~it is a replica of a place in Panama in the Carribbean Sea where the riches of Incas were shipped by the Spaniards.

The Rio Grande Rapids is the largest attraction of Portabello and is usually the favorite of the kids. It is a river rafting ride and just be prepared to get wet!

4D Discovery Theater
The Flying Fiesta
Disk-o-magic
Island treasure Souvenir Shop
Next is the Boulderville. It has a pre-historic theme and stone-age era. Most rides here are designed for children.

Boulderville Express-A mini train ride
Bouncing Boulder-a mini drop tower (kiddie version of Ekstreme)
Petreefied House
The Midway Boardwalk is a colorful and carefree zone inspired by Coney Island.

EKstreme Tower Ride is one of the most exciting and heart pounding ride at EK. It will bring you up slowly to 150 feet high tower and with a sudden free fall drop for only 2 seconds, nah!

Almost all of the exciting rides are found here at the Midway Boardwalk.

Anchors Away
Bump N Splash
Dodgem-Bumper Cars
Roller Skater-a mini roller coaster
Up up and Away-balloon ride
Wheel of Fate-Ferris Wheel
and lots of Steeplechase Arcade Games....

Next is the Brooklyn Place. Inspired from Brooklyn, New York, it is a theater and shopping zone of EK.

The Spaceport is inspired by Sci-fi films and NASA space programs. It features the 11-story ride Space Shuttle, which is the first shuttle coaster in the Philippines.

Last is the Jungle Outpost. It is designed after Amazon jungle. Swan Lake, Amazon Hoops, Jungle Log Jam are its main attractions.

Like any other theme parks, Enchanted Kingdom features a spectacular fireworks display on weekends at the end of the day.

Experience the magic and let the magic lives on.

Fort Santiago: A Historical Place

One of  Manila's oldest fortification is the Fort Santiago. Fort Santiago is more popularly known as the Walled City of Manila, the Intramuros. This is also where Jose P. Rizal was imprisoned before his execution at Bagumbayan, now the Luneta park.

I got the chance to visit the place because of my daughter Kyla's School Educational Field Trip. Admission price for Adults is P75.00 and P50.00 for children.

A feeling of tranquility, it is a nice place to relax, do some soul searching, aside doing school projects.

Places to go...

Rajah Sulayman Theater

Rizal Shrine

Jose Rizal Vertebrae

The Mi Ultimo Adios written in Spanish and Chinese

Last Walk to Martyrdom Trail

 Final Resting Place

The Dungeons

Baluarte De Santa Barbara
